Auction Terms & Conditions

Terms of Auction.
Plain English.

Before you bid, here's what you're agreeing to — eligibility, bidding rules, payment, delivery, inspection and your rights. No small print, no gotchas, no legalese. If anything is unclear, ask us before you place a bid.

Binding bids 24–48h payment 14-day protection EU governing law

Eligibility

Before You Register.

Bidding on Bringelands Maskinhandel AB is open to verified buyers only — private individuals and registered businesses. Here's what you need in place before you can place your first bid.

01

18 or Over

Bidders must be at least 18 years old. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement and are legally able to enter into a binding contract.

02

Identity Verified

Every bidder is identity-verified before entering the marketplace. We require valid ID or a company registration number — no anonymous accounts, no fake bidders.

03

Registered Account

You need an active account before you can bid. Register via the account icon in the top-right corner of any page — takes under a minute with email and password.

04

Payment Ready

You must be able to pay within the deadline if you win — card (24h) or bank transfer (48h). Some lien holders require full payment in advance — check the listing.

05

Delivery Address Confirmed

We need a valid delivery address in the EU — the yard or site where the machine will be received and offloaded. Offloading equipment must be ready on arrival.

06

Terms Accepted

By registering and bidding, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full — including binding bids, payment deadlines, and the inspection and refund policies.

Business buyers: registered companies can bid on behalf of the entity — use the company registration number during verification. Contact us if you need help setting up a corporate account.

The Buying Journey

How to Register & Bid.

Five steps from creating your account to receiving the machine. Same journey as our How It Works page — recapped here as part of the terms you're agreeing to when you register.

01

Register

Create your account via the icon in the top-right corner. Verify your identity with ID or company registration. Takes under two minutes.

02

Browse

Explore live auctions across Europe. Every listing shows hours, weight, year, condition report, and a delivery quote to your yard.

03

Bid

Place your bid in EUR — it's binding. Check the payment terms on the listing first: card (24h, 10–30%) or bank transfer (48h, full).

04

Win & Pay

You receive a win confirmation email with the total, payment link, and the terms for that listing. Pay by the deadline or the sale is void.

05

Receive

Insured transport delivers to your yard. Your 14-day inspection window starts on unloading — full refund and free pickup if you reject.

The Rules

Bidding Rules.

Bidding is a binding commitment. These are the rules that apply to every bid you place — read them once, and you'll know exactly what you're agreeing to for every machine on the platform.

01

Bids Are Binding

Every bid is a legally binding commitment to purchase the machine at that price if you win. There's no cooling-off period on a bid, and no room to negotiate after the fact.

02

No Retraction

Bids cannot be retracted, amended, or cancelled once placed — not for buyer's remorse, not because you found another machine. Ask us everything you need before you bid.

03

Bid Increments

Each listing has a minimum bid increment. Bids below the increment are rejected automatically. The current bid, minimum next bid and bid count are shown on every listing.

04

Reserve Prices

Some listings carry a reserve — the minimum price at which the lien holder will sell. Where a reserve applies, it's clearly stated on the listing. Bids below reserve don't win.

05

Outbid Alerts

When someone outbids you, you're notified immediately — by email and in your account dashboard. No missed opportunities, no wondering whether you're still highest.

06

Ending Times

Each auction has a fixed end date and time, shown on the listing and counted down live. If a bid is placed in the final minutes, the auction may extend briefly to allow counter-bids.

Ask before you bid. If you're unsure about condition, delivery, or payment terms, contact us — a question takes 2 minutes, a cancelled sale is much harder to undo.

Winning & Consequences

Winning & Non-Payment.

When you win an auction, you've committed to buying the machine. Here's what happens next — and what happens if payment isn't made within the deadline.

When You Win

Next steps
  • Win confirmation email Sent immediately with the total amount, payment link, and the exact terms for that listing.
  • Payment deadline starts Card: within 24 hours. Bank transfer: within 48 hours. Check the listing for the method that applies.
  • Delivery scheduled Once funds clear, we coordinate collection and delivery to your yard. Logistics handled by us.
  • 14-day inspection window Starts on unload at your yard. Reject if the machine materially differs from the listing.

If You Don't Pay

Consequences
  • Sale is void Missing the payment deadline voids the sale. The machine goes back to the lien holder and may be re-listed.
  • Account suspended Your bidding privileges are suspended. Further bids are blocked until the situation is resolved with our team.
  • Relisting consequences The machine returns to auction. Any further bids from you on the same machine require our approval first.
  • Possible account closure Repeated non-payment or abuse of the bidding system may result in permanent account closure.
Can't meet the deadline? Contact us immediately — the earlier you tell us, the more options we have. Waiting until the deadline passes leaves us nothing to work with.

Condition & Inspection

How Machines Are Sold.

Every machine is inspected by our team, documented in full working condition, and sold exactly as described. Here's what that means for you as a buyer — and how the 14-day inspection window protects you after delivery.

What You're Buying

As described
  • Pre-inspected by our team Four-point inspection before listing — mechanical, electrical, structural, documentation.
  • Full working condition Documented as operating normally under load, not just at idle. Nothing listed until confirmed.
  • Condition report on every listing Hours, weight, year, and any known faults — written up and attached to the listing.
  • Faults disclosed — not hidden Anything we know about the machine is stated on the listing. No surprises we could have told you about.

What You Can't Do

Limitations
  • Inspect before bidding Lien holder facilities don't offer viewings, loading, or staff for third-party access. We can't override that.
  • Collect the machine yourself All machines are collected and transported by our logistics partners. Self-pickup isn't available.
  • Reject for cosmetic wear Used machines have used-machine wear. Paint, decals, upholstery, and normal surface wear aren't grounds for rejection.
  • Reject for disclosed issues If a fault was on the listing, you bid with full visibility on it. That's not a valid rejection.
14
The 14-Day Inspection Window Starts on unload at your yard. You inspect at your pace — run it, test it, bring your own mechanic. If the machine materially differs from the listing, reject it and we refund in full with free pickup.
